Any post punk fan in this day and age would be in continuous search for contemporary creations that pay decades-old glorious genre a proper homage. This makes Deanery's latest release a breath of fresh air -- a work that's reminiscent of the sound that defined the post punk movement decades ago and closely comparable to today's post punk revival bands (eg Interpol or locally Shiela and the Insects -- not just because being from Cebu is something they have in common!).
