Empress Eyes is a project started by Clare, a singer and multi- instrumentalist hailing from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her eclectic style of dream-pop and shoegaze songs are borderless and expansive. Backed by Arie on guitar, Jake on bass, and Donovan on drums who create depth and emphasize the ethereal aspect of Empress Eyes by adding their own flair and building off of Clare's haunting vocal delivery. Recently featured in Ear to the Ground's article,"Three Singer Songwriters That Will Re Invigorate Your Love For Music," Empress Eyes's latest release, "Skeleton Garden" taps into Clare's personal experience of, "having hope toward change that might not actually happen." Empress Eyes encourages listeners to step into themselves and their authenticity through the uncertainties life has to offer.
