    Ahtapot is taking the sound of 70s/80s Turkish-Psychedelic-Rock as a starting point and making something new from it. If you are familiar with this era, you will realize the big influence of Barış Manço or Erkin Koray but also the western vibes of Tame impala or Allah-las. 
 When you order coffee with milk in Morocco, you will get a Nous Nous which means half-half. This song was born in a jam session with local musicians in Imsouane, a small fishing village that still tries to keep its pure, laid-back lifestyle. This song combines Turkish and Moroccan harmonies with early Rock & Roll in a very interesting and unique way. 
 „Intro“ is a kind of a trailer for Ahtapot. It’s telling the story behind finding the name of the band. Ahtapot means Octopus and there were often stories told about this fascinating animal by Kent Coda, the earlier band of the Singer and the Guitarist Öğünç Kardelen. Philipp Koelges is on the drums and Tobias Schmitt is on bass.
