j and the 9s are a married glam punk power duo originally from Brooklyn, New York, now living in Long Beach, California. Described as "a mix of Alice Cooper, Pink, and Iggy Pop sprinkled with jazzy flute licks and glam visuals", and known for their "fun, high energy interactive stage show", this band is one "that is certain to steal your attention." They have toured across the U.S. in festivals big and small in their painted rv and have played internationally multiple times, most notably Summerfest, multiple Warped Tour, SXSW, and Extreme Tour dates, The Gramercy Theater in NYC, The Lancaster Music Fest in the UK, The Zandari Fest in Seoul, Korea, and The V-Rox Fest in Vladivostok, Russia. They have also been the backing band for Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and have supported The Meat Puppets, Mumiy Troll (Russia's biggest rock band), and viral sensations Small Town Titans. Before the pandemic, you may have spotted them doing shows on their rv rooftop stage. In May, they welcomed their 1st child, Jack to the world.
