24-year-old rock puppet master prchr. (pronounced percher) is no stranger to breaking barriers with his massive tones. He channels all of the energy of his favourite rock artists and twists it into his own amalgamation of delicious alternative compositions with a blend of his new era sound to feed the young, like-minded rock craving enthusiasts. Hysteria Mag recently described prchr.’s music as “an uncompromising sonic sandwich of raw vigour and distortion” while scenstr praised him with his “hectic distortion sounds that morph between alternative, garage rock and grunge.” All the while circulating streams and massive radio play across community and college radio in both USA and back home in Australia as well as spins on BBC Radio 1 and more, building his community one listener at a time. prchr. starts off his 2023 with a huge, fuzzy BANG, coming off of the back of his recently released debut ‘ONLY CHILD EP’, as he showcases his most modest forms of songwriting and his love for all things loud with the release of his latest double A-sided singles GHOST and CHICAGO. Loud and crunchy. Bold and addictive. Both being anthems of escapism, disappointment towards loved ones and isolation, whilst still being laced with layers and walls of fuzz and contain massive hooks that will be impossible to get out of your head.
