Биография
It all began on a cold winter day in 2007 when three friends, Jeremy Farkas, Travis Alguire, and Bentley Roy, came together with a shared dream of making music. They were in Grade 8, and although it was supposed to be a big year in preparation for high school, their passion for music took precedence. They envisioned sharing the stage with their idols and creating their own music that would resonate with others. This dream carried them through high school, but unfortunately, it came to an end shortly afterward. Fast-forward over a decade later, after pursuing different projects individually, fate intervened and brought them back together. Jeremy Farkas, having recently left Bearings, decided to embark on a new musical journey and formed Growing Fires. With Travis Alguire joining him on bass guitar, the duo entered the studio with Anton DeLost and recorded a series of singles from 2018 to 2021. They had the music ready, and the world was now open to them, but there was one obstacle to overcome—who would play the drums? Fortunately, this question was swiftly answered when their college friend, Nic Zevenbergen, stepped in and took his place behind the kit, completing the trio. However, they still felt like something was missing. That's when their long-time best friend and former bandmate, Bentley Roy, returned home, bringing the quartet together and adding the final missing piece. The incendiary quartet is set out to tour Ontario and Quebec this year in support of new music
