Guest Room Status (GRS) is the emotionally charged brainchild of best pals Liam, Dave, Wooly and Pete. Formed on the fringes of journalism school, the band got its start playing all things Modern Baseball and The Hotelier in Liam’s kitchen. Fascinated by one another’s music taste and enraptured by their ability to play really loud, the band wasted no time writing original music. Inspired by the intricacies of math-rock, energy of pop-punk, and rawness of midwest emo, Guest Room Status aims to write intrinsically emotional tunes, layered with sing-along hooks and witty introspective lyricism.
