Led by the charismatic English singer Bartholomew Joyce now based in Paris, Mandelbro draws inspiration from the electrifying rock of Unknown Mortal Orchestra, the warm grooves of Balthazar, and the catchy melodies of Metronomy. With boundless energy, obvious chemistry, and powerful riffs, Mandelbro tackles themes as deep as the current crisis, the grip of social media, the burden weighing on the new generation. The songs flow one after the other like calls for renewal and optimism. Their new EP “Conditions” has been released on June the 9th, 2023.
