Craig ‘Craigy T’ Thompson In Preparatory school he was told that he wasn't good enough to be a part of the school choir, Since then the knowledge that one can excel at anything he/she puts their mind to has been a driving force for this artist, and has played a major role in his musical development. Craig Patrick Anthony Thompson, more popularly known as Craigy T, was born in Kingston, Jamaica. The passion for music fermented while attending high school where Craigy-T and his friends formed, the now iconic group, T.O.K. Labeled as “uptown boys’ doing dancehall music, the group was often ridiculed because at the time dancehall music was generalized as a way out for the poor. The Group created history by being the first ‘uptown’ group to break into the dancehall fraternity and conquered major music markets all over the world. In 2016 the members of the group decided to take on solo careers, and has stopped recording as a group. Craigy-T took the T.O.K split as an opportunity to focus more on solo projects and his GAFJAM Records Label. Craigy-T quickly made the solo artist transition. Armed with experience and natural talent he is poised to take his Pop-Reggae fusion sound to the highest levels of success. New solo material for Craigy-T includes; No Space, Number 1 Girl, Pull it up and Alive. With his new image, style and material, Craigy-T promises to satisfy the fans who have been clamoring for music they can sing, dance, cry and fall in love to. <br>
