MASICKA born Javaun Fearon is the multi-talented, 26 year-old (born December 4th, 1993) singer and songwriter, who has blasted his way to the top of the Jamaican dancehall scene over the past few years and is seeking to bring his one-of-a-kind style to international prominence. MASICKA’s is blessed with a crazy, sick lyrical ability and rides upon dancehall’s most current riddims and old school classics alike, with a swagger that is unmatched by most others. He dropped his first local hit “Guh Haad and done”(ONE MOTION MUSIC) at the age of 18, which quickly led him to get noticed by Jamaican and international producers alike. At the same time, his hard work, determination and potential caught the eye of VYBZ KARTEL’s ex-associate and Jamaican business mogul COREY TODD, who quickly signed him immediately as his saw the potential of this young star in the making. Over the next few years and under the watchfull eye of his new manager, his career gathered steady momentum as the talented young artist released a string of singles collaborating with most of jamaica’s top producers . The young artist and his manager has also set up a new company: GENAHSYDE RECORDS, under which his team now release all of his music independently.
