We Skeem is an independent solo artist. His music styling is a blend of hip-hop, alternative pop, electronic/synth, comedy, and emo. In the early 2000s, Rob (We Skeem) was releasing acoustic/ballad and pop punk styled songs under the name After the Tone. After the Tone started to gain some national notoriety in 2010. However, after failed negotiations to secure a record label, the project was put on an indefinite hiatus (and would not resurface until 2021). After taking a break from releasing his own music in 2010, Rob kept music as a hobby while he finished getting a degree in psychology. In 2015, Rob became a behind-the-scenes producer, ghostwriter, and composer. By 2017, his melodies, lyrics, and instrumental arrangements were being used by mainstream artists. Filled with new motivation due to his rising success, Rob decided to try his hand at making music for himself again. In 2018, Rob created the masked persona known as We Skeem. We Skeem is a unique melding of genres like nothing you’ve heard before. Often ironic and tongue-in-cheek, the rapping and singing stylings of We Skeem will stay with you. Outside of his music, We Skeem is a content creator and Streamer on YouTube, Tik Tok, and Twitch.
