Australian pop rock band, Set The Record debuted in 2012, bursting onto the scene with their punchy, energetic performances, and catchy, pop punk infused songs that echoed vibes of artists like New Found Glory, Jimmy Eat World and Paramore. The quintet from Brisbane continued making waves in 2013, working with Electric Sun Studios in Sydney (Tonight Alive, Stand Atlantic, With Confidence), recording their second EP, ‘Above the World’. Fans made the debut single ‘Real’ trend #1 nationally on Twitter, leading to mainstream radio play on Austereo’s network. Continuous touring throughout the country earned the band opportunities to open for international acts The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, The Maine, Relient K, Cartel, and AS IT IS. 2021 has seen STR back in the studio, releasing raucous new music, videos, and performances, breathing a fresh onslaught of noise back into the live scene.
