The Playbook’s signature blend of high energy musicianship, emotional lyrics and catchy melodies attracts fans new and old alike. Having touring Australia numerous times, The Playbook are no stranger to the stage, performing hundreds of gigs over their 8 year lifespan (2010-2018). The band were lucky enough to be able to support some of their favourite bands including MxPx, The Story So Far, Real Friends, The Wonder Years, Tonight Alive, and many more. In their time as a band, the pop punkers released 3 EPs and 1 LP All I Am Is What You Left Behind, and saw a number of members join and leave the ranks, with the final lineup consisting of singer Laura, guitarists Brent and Jenkins, bassist Jamie and drummer Stu, who also recorded and produced most of their back catalogue. Amassing an impressive amount of streams, they have been supported by loyal fans during their time as a band and continuing on amidst their hiatus. September 2020 saw the release of their compilation album What We Left Behind, which features b-sides, remixes, demos, covers and more.
