Ok, let's be frank: it's me writing this stuff here. No magazine or newspaper is writing articles about my music (yet... let's see for how long this is true), so sure that I'm gonna write in first person. Born in Brazil and recently having moved to London, I could say that my music is as detailed and broad as my personality. Being an independent artist and having zero connections to anyone in the music industry, I had to learn music production by myself and today I can proudly say that I write, arrange, produce, sing, mix and master my own songs, putting me in the centre of the entire creative process. Beyond that, I also carefully create the visual artworks (and sometimes music video) for each song following a pattern in order to produce a visual-musical universe. My writing usually deals with themes of art, the universe, frustrations and the struggles of being alive in this world today. I have a hard time trying to define a genre for my songs, because they change from Pop to Soul, to Funk and even to Experimental, all that also having a “tropical flavour” (according to a friend of mine). The one thing kept in common in all of them is my voice, my autobiographical songwriting and a huge amount of harmonies that I consider to be my mark.
