Modisaotsile Godfrey Mvundla also known as Die Mondez; recording artist, born 1996/30/04, found his passion for music at the age of 12. Die Mondez stands out by bringing a fresh new wave into the industry called PiFF. PiFF is a new genre that merges intense flows with some harmonies. Emphasis is heard on the hard beats and 808s that carry the vocals. Under the umbrella of PiFF Audio; his signing label, he released his first solo project in 2017 titled Far From Basic and since then has been working on perfecting and fine tuning his craft. In 2019 Die Mondez started the year on a high note having released a joint EP with Zoocci Coke Dope which saw the pair nominated for mixtape of the year at the South African Hip-hop Awards. Later in the year he released his first official EP titled “Die Mondez Are Forever” which also got him nominated by HYPE Magazine for HYPE Freshman 19. Die Mondez Are Forever has set his footprint down the path of his musical journey bringing him praise for his unique flows and intricate word play. His list of features and preference in production showcase his unique style and are testament to his reach and stature within the South African Hip-hop scene. His journey in music has seen him work with mainstream artists such as, namely, Big Star Johnson, Zoocci Coke Dope, Le Paris, 25K, Flame, Jody and Stogie T to add to his ever-growing list of music and features.
