In piecing together the different perspectives inherited from a bilingual coloured & black mother and Irish father - the artist known as Shane Eagle has successfully translated the validity of his point of view through the South African Hip-Hop/Rap Scene with hits like "Julia" and "Cutting Corners". Having provided the first glimpse into his reality in the release of his debut SAMA award winning album "Yellow" , the artist solidifies his devotion to his journey in music with more successes for the 2018 EP “Never Grow Up” which received a Gold Award and won "Best Mixtape Of The Year" at the 2019 SA Hip-Hop Awards; and not forgetting to mention the 23 track mixtape titled “Dark Moon Flower” released on 2019 which premiered in New York Times Square and featured great local and international acts. More recently having compiled, arranged and engineered his 2022 album "Green" through personal initiative, Shane Eagle seals a slot in the world of video gaming as he announces his feature on the 2K Games soundtrack for "NBA 2K23" with his 2018 hit single “Chocolate Milk”; and joins forces once again with Los Angeles based producer LIKE to create “Hold You” as his first drop of the year. The artist explains that the message behind the song is clear in conveying what is important to him in this point in his career namely; love, inspiration and knowledge.
