Hailing from London via Nigeria, Ray BLK, real name, Rita Ekwere, is telling her story on her own terms. The singer, songwriter, actress and, entrepreneur boasts an incredible catalogue, with an impressive +198M global catalogue streams. Ray BLK is a winner of the coveted BBC Sound Poll, becoming the first & only independent artist to do so. Ray’s album was No 1 on the R&B Chart & critically acclaimed by The Guardian, NME & The Evening Standard. She’s been featured in the Forbes 30 under 30 and has toured with Nicki Minaj, along with having her own sold out US and UK tours under belt. She’s previously collaborated the likes of Stormzy, The Gorillaz, Wyclef Jean, Beenie Man and industry heavyweight producers; Jimmy Napes, Paul Epworth, and Fraser T Smith.
