14-year musician, producer, songwriter, and lyricist, WilliamGold has spent the latter of his life immersed in sounds, songs, and solidarity with the world of music. Growing up surrounded by record crates, turntables, and keyboards, the inevitability of a life instilled in music was formulating in Gold’s life. Gold is a native of Champaign-Urbana but has spent a considerable amount of time around the country bringing his r&b, soul, jazz, and house infused hip-hop masterpieces to the ears of the public. Gold’s purpose is to express his dreams and realities simultaneously in each of his carefully designed compositions. After three long years of scrapping and re-creating, WilliamGold’s debut album, Asleep With The TV On, dropped June 5th followed by two new singles, GucciShoes and Creek N. Mist. Gold's got more in store for the listeners who've tapped in and those who will soon come to know the name, WilliamGold.
