Singer/Songwriter Annie Fitzgerald’s music has been described as “a blend of Tori Amos’ intellectual appeal, Sarah McLachlan’s mystical charm and Edie Brickell’s baroque spirit” (Jamsphere). At the start of her career Annie was honored by the Songwriters Hall of Fame as an artist to watch, while she was an integral part of the NYC Indie scene and toured nationally. After having her son, she welcomed a move back to her home state of Minnesota alongside a newfound sense of space to create. Annie is a co-founder of the Valkyrie Music Collective which aims to create opportunities for change, balance and community in the music industry. She is a member of the #MeTooMpls Collective that released a 2020’s top 10 album by the Star Tribune, which was created to lift the voices of people who identify as women/femmes/trans/non-binary, to raise awareness around abuse, and to fund Planned Parenthood.  Annie is also a Sound Therapist and Reiki Practitioner in the Minneapolis area. She offers 1:1 Sound Healing & Reiki Sessions, Duo Sound Journeys & Group Sound Bath Meditations. She brings sound healing, active listening & meditation to companies & organizations as Workspace Wellness. Annie, along with her colleague Dawn Marian can be found bringing the Art of Rituality (sacred events that uplift the heart and soul) to groups, as well as facilitating Full Moon Magik (an in-person & online gathering celebrating the Moon and her cycles).
