Ali Aiman's signature gravelly voice, overlapping his minimalist beats and melancholic melodies have captured the eyes, ears and hearts of many. With the release of his debut EP, Overture - EP in 2014, Ali Aiman bagged the number 7 spot in Eh! Malaysia magazine’s list of ‘50 Best Local Albums’ in their May 2015 issue amongst other acknowledgements, especially for his lead single, Breathe. Ali Aiman was also nominated for the Best Breakthrough Artist for the Hitz.fm MET 10 Awards, which took place in January 2016. As 2015 came to a close, Ali Aiman released the first single, Morning Sun , from his forthcoming album, Circles. He also collaborated on Cheap Perfume with +2dB, an electronic duo outfit, which premiered on Fly FM Stripped in December 2015. Both songs quickly gained widespread attention and were featured on the Hitz.fm MET 10 Chart. Ingenuity isn’t lost with Ali Aiman. The release of his 2016 album, Circles, showcases Ali’s successful progression as a singer songwriter and producer and represents his maturing yet distinctive sound, without departing too far from his signature self.
