Formed in 2021, Post-Rock unit from Jakarta, inthebleakwinter had launched their debut EP "Launch Forth Into The Deep" in 2021. Every note and melody that they painted into this EP was freshly color-picked from their most recent influences. Such as; Maybeshewill, Caspian, Ólafur Arnalads, Frames, Delving etc. inthebleakwinter released their second EP (20 February 2023) called "Bliss & Madness Pt. I". The first chapter of a cathartic journey. “Bliss & Madness Pt. I” intensifies the perfect imperfections of the world. A half-metamorhpic process of inthebleakwinter formed an expansive tool to grasp the inceptive odyssey of searching the perfect symmetry of everything. Includes five tracks with hymns of purity and imperfections in a delicate language. Their follow up EP Bliss & Madness Pt. II arrived 2 months later (27 April 2023). The journey is an unravelling of stories from the past and It's very personal. The EP holds a heavy meaning from the first track to the last. A delicate language of ‘in between’ feelings translated beautifully into harmony. It’s intentionally imperfect and raw.
