The Copenhagen based quartet Tender Youth was formed in 2018 and in 2021 they released their self-titled debut EP. Tender Youth has now released their long awaited debut album on the 21st of April 2023, which explores a unique and expressive rock sound. 
 Tender Youth merges genres as avant-garde rock and post-punk into a noisy, experimental and spacious soundscape. Existing of four high-school friends, the young band creates a unique reinterpretation of the noble genres through an anxious lyrical universe that puts into words the perfectionist and achievement focused culture that permeates their generation. Tender Youth’s need to break these invisible chains results in a chaotic tangle of energy culminating in their melodic, raw and thundering soundscape. A soundscape that has been heard on danish radio station P6 BEAT and has been able to experience at their high-intensity concerts.
 Since the boys were 16, it has been possible to experience these concerts at several danish venues such as Loppen, Byhaven and UHØRT Festival, where the latter concert was selected by 'Soundvenue' and 'Undertoner' as the festival's best ten and five experiences respectively. 
 As Undertoner writes, Tender Youth is the newest upcomings from the Copenhagen underground scene. A band that is in constant development and is exploring new sounds towards an upcoming debut album in 2023.
