Screams of Syrens is a Progressive Metalcore band, based in Southern California. The band was formed in 2013 by vocalist Trevor Laake and guitarist Alex Llanos, with the intent of pushing the envelope of progressive metal into a far more theatrical realm. 
 They were joined immediately by guitarist Donald Bolden, and later by bassist Isaac Waters and drummer Christian Paz. 
 After 2 years of performing unreleased material and signing to their current management group “Ambiguous Music”, they released their first EP titled “Chapter 1: Caravel” in December of 2015. Seeing the response their fans had to a more theatrical style of metal, SOS decided to stay the course and continue developing that aspect of the music and performance. 
 With the release of the follow up single “A New Era” in 2018, and locking themselves in the studio for the entire year to create their first full length album, titled “Reflections”, the band really found their voice and ran with it. 
 Following the release of “Reflections” in January of 2019, Screams of Syrens hit the ground running with multiple tours promoting the newly released album. 
 After a successful year, they once again starting creating new music, releasing new singles “The Ripper” and “Mr Nobody”. 
 They are currently writing new music and plan to be back on the road by early 2023
