Биография
She was born on October 22, 1982 and from a very young age Orleya felt a passion for music. At the age of 15, she began to take her first steps, doing small shows in pubs. Graduated from the School of Contemporary Music in Buenos Aires, with an agreement with Berklee College of Music, she decided to record her first demo that ended up in the hands of the prestigious producer Seoan, who was looking to merge his Chill Out music with new western voices. Orleya received his invitation to record the song Myati, which would become the first single of the album Buddha Sounds and quickly played on both radio and television channels. Her first soloist album, entitled Two Lights, contains 11 songs composed by Orleya and Seoan. Her second album called Orleya Sings consists of 12 classics, in which the singer is accompanied by a string quartet and a piano. In 2005, Orleya recorded the successful album Bossa and Stones, then participated in several compilations of versions such as Jazz and 80's, Bossa and Marley, etc. She is currently presenting Orleya Sings 2, an album in which she personally selected 10 classics that thrill her and she loves to perform. Orleya said: “The intention was to make a different version of each original song, creating a chill atmosphere but at the same time sophisticated and modern, that's why we chose string arrangements but also drums and electronic sounds.”
