    Born in Munich, Germany, Marko Stojanović Louis has embarked on a very international and eclectic path in all aspects of life. While in Germany, Marko graduated economics followed by specialization in percussions at the Munich Conservatorium. All this while pursuing a professional basketball career from 1999 to 2006. “Retiring“ from basketball, Marko moved to Belgrade enrolling in the Faculty of Dramatic Arts studying in the department for Sound Design, graduating in 2014. It was at this point Marko defined his next stage in his professional career; a signer song writer and producer, not just for himself but for a number of artists in the region. He also continued to develop his first love of percussion performing on stage with his father, Ljubiša Stojanović Louis- one of the most prolific Ethno Jazz singers of his time. Marko records, plays gigs (live and online) and works with a number of regional artists... As he always says “In music there can be no boundaries“… This ethos can be heard, seen and felt in all projects Marko is involved in, be they solo, live gigs and/or working with other artists across the region. If the Balkan music industry ever needed a musical hero, its Marko Louis.
