Lisa M was born in San Juan Puerto Rico and grew up in Puerta de Tierra, a neighborhood of the city. At the early age of 12 years, she began as a choreographer, Hip Hop and break dancer for rap artist Vico C. At the age of 14, she began her career as a rapper in Spanish, becoming the first female Spanish rapper in Puerto Rico and Latin America.
