Jaalid, a Boston based artist, is a fresh voice in the contemporary hip hop scene. Noted for his warm style and smooth vocals, Jaalid achieved major recognition with the release of his song “Paradox” on The Fader in 2015. Since then, Jaalid has produced a steady stream of singles which demonstrate a soulful sound and solid rap vocal ability. In addition to The Fader, Jaalid’s music has regularly been featured on multiple blogs including Complex, Billboard, Pigeons and Planes, DJBooth and Beats 1 Radio. Jaalid’s style reflects the influences of artists such as Drake , Post Malone and Swae Lee. His musical diversity appeals to a broad base of hip hop and rap fans. Jaalid’s recent projects include "It's Not That Bad”, released in the summer of 2019 under Alamo Records, "It Could’ve Went Different” released in November of 2020 and "Fifth Chance” which debuted in 2022.
