Биография

Hi, I'm Lukr. I was born in an ambulance, raised on a Christmas Tree farm, and grew up riding my bike back & forth across the Mason-Dixon line every day. I'm from the 80's, I think cats and octopuses are both probably aliens, and I play a mean mouth trumpet in a lot of my songs. 
 My name means "bringer of light" and that's what I'm trying to fuck with every day. Bringing light is making people laugh; bringing light is a fresh take on old ideas; bringing light is helping people shake their ass; bringing light is helping people cry; bringing light is using radical vulnerability to say "i'm a secret fucking mess, too." (I am.) I try to take that approach to everything in my life, including my art. 
 I think you are wonderful and I love you. There is simply no one like you in the world. I want to be on the soundtrack of the amazing movie that is your life. I release these songs to you and for you - they're all based on a true story, but they aren't about me anymore. These songs are about us. About the experience of being awake and alive and how our hardest, ugliest, most painful moments can highlight a staggering beauty - if you look for it.
