Биография

Becomer is an indie duo formed by two friends, Casey (also of Stone Throwers) and Brandon (aka Sour Marcus) in summer of 2018. Conceived in a spare bedroom in Pittsburgh, PA, Becomer takes a DIY approach to creating lo-fi music that combines elements of folk, pop, and spoken word poetry. Becomer’s debut, Nothing Really, was released on August 21, 2018. Their follow-up e.p., When Leaving Is All That Is Left, was released on November 22, 2018. 
After nearly three years of keeping busy with other projects, and after ditching the bedroom for a basement (they moved), Becomer returned on April 20, 2021 with a cover of Neutral Milk Hotel's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. They followed that single with Comfy/Cozy, released on August 6, 2021. In spring of 2022, Becomer released Maiden of the Mist and There Used To Be A Lake Here, which can also be found on their latest EP Five Poems, released in June 2022. Becomer is currently in the basement writing new material. Becomer is alive and so are you.
