LXCID is a Malaysian alternative indie rock band, formed as a passion project which soon carved a pathway into something potentially bigger. As it is also pronounced, the term lucid dream also creates inspiration and motives for their songwriting choices. The group has itself in a constant daze towards reaching new heights and possibilities with their music as a medium that reaches the hearts of fans. Inheriting love from grunge music to post-rock, the group gathers much significance in their sound towards bands such as No Party For Cao Dong, Arctic Monkeys, Pierce The Veil, and My Chemical Romance. The members of the band quickly forged their own distinct identities into a common blend that would be known as LXCID.
