Khai Zhen is a music artist, producer based in Kuala Lumpur, currently signed as an exclusive songwriter under Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG). From his love of Hip-Hop and pop culture, he picked up his interest working on ambiance-based, atmospheric Alternative Pop/R&B music to produce and experience music in a great fusion of different genres. Since 2020 he produced/engineered for various local & international artists including NYK, SHN, TY:DEL, CLARY, and more with singles featured on numerous Spotify & Apple Music Editorial Playlists. Khai Zhen isn't a stranger in the scene as his music has made into the main rotation of radios and climbing charts including Malaysia’s #1 English Radio - Hitz FM, Lite FM, and more. Khai Zhen's reputation and presence have been enhanced in his hometown Malaysia with features in major media including JUICE MY, FreeMalaysiaToday, Music Press Asia etc. Khai Zhen has executive produced an EP for uprising Mando R&B/Pop artist Hao You and released on May 2022. Marking his entrance and versatility in penetrating the Mando/Chinese music scene. In the stage of producing and engineering for artists, he moved on to be an artist himself showcasing more music of his own.
