Paul Pablo, a Davao City native who rose to popularity with songs like "Bangin," "Kalawakan," and "Kaya," is one of the area's most renowned artists. His songs address topics such as love, societal issues, and identity. His affectionate songwriting is never forced, it packs the right punches while remaining poised. In his younger days, he developed a talent for music by practicing singing, writing and performing. His love for pop music was greatly influenced by Lady Gaga's "The Fame Monster," "Born this Way," and "ARTPOP" eras. 
 During the peak of his two major hits, "Bangin" and "Kalawakan," Paul Pablo had over 160k monthly listeners and one million Spotify streams in his first year. During his sophomore year, he debuted his Wish 107.5 Bus performance with "Kaya”. During the same time period, he was able to showcase his artistry in huge music and arts related events. His music was also noticed by music organizations such as the "Awit Awards," where he won the award for "Best Cover Art" for his song "Kalawakan” and got nominated for four more categories. His song "Kaya" was also nominated for "Best Contemporary R&B" at the "Wish Awards".
