Minaw is an independent singer/songwriter from Manila, Philippines with a decade of experience writing songs. He is heavily influenced and currently into the Japanese Citypop genre, mainly inspired by the retro music of Tatsuro Yamashita, Mariya Takeuchi, and Miki Matsubara to mention a few. His songs Tabi, Koneksyon, Distansya, Luna, Hinga (currently with an Official Music Video), Pagitan, Hiya, Papansin, Konteksto and his latest CityPop-inspired single - Palayo, provide different narratives of love stories to bring nostalgia on the listeners as he believes that this is the kind of music most people deeply need to escape from the present. He continues his music career as a solo artist with an emphasis on his music brand on Retro Pop.
