Open Season has recorded the sweetest form of Reggae music for you: in Switzerland's legendary Powerplay Studios, with the full band and much love. What started out at the end of the 1970s in London’s Black community quickly spread across the globe: Lovers Rock. This type of Reggae music is so warm and soft that it lets you drift away from reality and vanish into the arms of a dancing partner. Even if it’s just for one night. Open Season’s answer to the pandemic are five songs in this style. It’s a special project for trying times. Love songs that have no other purpose than to invoke the glory of all these lost nights out and to remind ourselves that we are still near to each other.
