With a cool vocal style and powerful stage presence, Jonny Blu leads the way among a new generation of neo-crooners. Influenced by legendary singers Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis Presley & George Michael and in a class with singers like Michael Bublé and Harry Connick, Jr., Blu has re-introduced modern audiences around the world to American Songbook standards, while also writing, composing and producing his own original music in the same vein as the classics. Blu's music ranges from Classic Pop to Adult Contemporary Pop and Folk, combining stylish, stirring, romantic vibes with smooth blues and jazz flavor along with bursts of swinging big band that will please any generation of listeners. Blu is a "quintuple threat” in entertainment, being an accomplished singer, songwriter, television host, actor & martial artist. His non-linear career began in 2001 in Hong Kong when Blu was signed to a Chinese music label (See Music) and he was the 1st caucasian to score three Top Ten hit songs on the Chinese Pop music charts. In 2005 he won “Hot New Sound” at the Metro Radio Music Awards in China and he appeared in Disney's “Princess Diaries 2” singing his RIAA Gold Record song “Miracles Happen.” Blu has since released multiple acclaimed Jazz, Big Band, Contemporary pop and folk albums and continues to perform for audiences worldwide. In 2017 he collaborated with Pop Princess Avril Lavigne on their Christmas single "Baby It's Cold Outside" and he has a new album due out in 2018.
