Sebastian Javier translates a global upbringing into a vibrant, versatile, and vital vision for pop music. He discovered music as a kid back in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but honed his talents during a humble upbringing in Kitchener, Ontario, commuting these experiences into a lush Latin-tinged take on R&B-laden pop. Inspired by the larger-than-life charisma of Freddie Mercury, artistic evolution of Harry Styles, and crossover brilliance of Rosalía, he began writing and recording music. Signing to Elektra Records during 2020, he initially made waves with “Bad For Me” and “Crystal Ball.” Meanwhile, “Day at a Time” drew widespread tastemaker praise. Following the 2022 fan favorite “Pretend,” he sets the stage for his next chapter with much more music.
