RJ Manulid is a singer-songwriter and producer. Making music to feel better, he is an artist who creates with emotional honesty at the center of it all. Combining RJ’s love for indie pop and hip-hop while applying learnings from film scoring practice, ‘Better’ is a track that introduces the optimistic vibe of the 3rd album, 'Looking Up'. 'Better' is about life looking up through a gentle love. On the other hand, the second single, 'Eleven' is about looking up for a glimmer of light when you’ve hit rock bottom. CNN Philippines, Bandwagon Asia, Yahoo News Japan, GMA Regional TV, NYLON Manila, SunStar Davao, and ABS-CBN, among others, have covered RJ's music. He performed in the Wish 107.5 Bus and produced 2 songs for Chud Festejo's Laro-Laro Lang EP in 2019. RJ has gone on tour in Cebu City, Malaybalay, and Cagayan de Oro City. Radio stations in the Philippines and Japan have played his songs. H&M featured I Need An Ocean in their Best of H&M Philippines Store Playlist. RJ also collaborated with the Japanese DJ/producer WAZGOGG for The Sun Rises In The West [WAZGOGG Remix], a song featuring Seoul-based Korean rapper Trix (now known as j00n). WAZGOGG and RJ also released a new song, Win Somehow.
