Craig Shay is a New York based musician and is excited to share his new ep, "Sadly, Yes", produced by Brian DiMeglio. "Sadly, Yes" is a mix of new and old tied together with acoustic guitar, bass, drums, banjo, glockenspiel, and stylophone, all emphatically played by Craig, who has enough energy to power the full band sound and feel of the ep. "Everything I Said" is the lead single that starts with soft hand claps and glockenspiel before exploding into an angst filled lamentation of a conversation where, despite your best intentions, you cannot say the right thing. "Good intentions aren't always enough" is the theme that pervades "Sadly, Yes." "I write songs when I have something to say," says Craig. "I write songs when I need to communicate a feeling and cannot explain myself in a conventional way." Craig also writes, sings, and plays bass in Cold Wrecks and plays bass in Answering Machine.
