A fine original rarity from the city of Tijuana, resulting in an exciting and emotional mix of alternative rock, art rock, pseudo-chanson, jazz and power ballad. Evolving as an almost cult project, they have managed to grow independently and to imbue their music with theatricality, melodrama, distortion, and cabaret. The creative members of the group are Azzul Monraz (voice and lyrics) and Joel Castillo (keyboards and guitar). 'Madame Ur' is the alter-ego of Monraz, who for the most recent material embodies a woman-black cat, with elegant animal mannerisms and a characteristic veil embroidered on her face. Throughout the last 10 years and in a self-managed way they have produced the EP 'Men & Pearl Necklaces' album 'Animal Man' and the EP 'Better Day'.
