Jezzy P, es una rapera oriunda del municipio de Ecatepec, Estado de México. Artista hip hop independiente, tallerista, gestora y activista cultural, Directora del Colectivo Mujeres Trabajando y del Festival Amazonas Urbanas. Considerada uno de los referentes más importantes del rap femenino no sólo en México, sino a nivel internacional, pues ha trabajado arduamente para posicionar este movimiento en la escena alternativa lo que la ha convertido en un ícono imprescindible para entender este fenómeno sociocultural, destacando por ser una de las mujeres pioneras en este género musical en el cual ha estado activa ininterrumpidamente por más de veinte años. //////////// Jezzy P is one of the most important figures in female rap throughout Latin America. She is recognized as one of the pioneers of this musical genre in Mexico, having formed part of the country’s first generation of rappers in the 1990’s. Currently one of the most relevant artists in independent hip hop, she has worked non-stop in the music scene for the past 20 years; bringing her talent and unique style to stages throughout the continent.
