Peace Is Just a Break is a melodic death metal band created in May 2011 by 5 friends from the area of Lausanne, Switzerland. The band had the chance to play at BiubStock Festival alongside Breakdown of Sanity in 2012, and at the Metal Assault Festival in 2013, with bands such as Psycroptic, Hour of Penance and Dyscarnate. In 2015, after a big line-up change, the band got out of its off-peak period by unveiling a new song, Echoes . PIJAB is now back on stage with new compositions of a more modern and melodic death metal, adding some electronic synths to the sound. The band then performed three gigs in Switzerland in September and November, including one opening act for the French metalcore band Eths, before playing in Belgium and the Netherlands in November. During the second half of 2017, the band released three music videos featuring songs from the new album, including the cover of french rapper Maître Gims,Brisé - Pilule Bleue", to promote their debut album which was set to release on the 13th of October 2017. Since then, the band played from town to town in Switzerland as well as in foreign countries. Since the release of their first album "Little Boy", the band hit the road to promote its music in Switzerland as well as in France and Czech Republic during a European tour alongside AM : PM and Age of Collision. The band is currently working on new material for a second release to be announced.
