Биография

From the hills east of Melbourne, Australia, Eddie Cole is a Gospel singer songwriter and guitar teacher. As a teenager in the mid 1980’s he started out in a band called The Avenue. It was a road to nowhere. After this he recorded some demos and got some attention in Australia and the UK but a deal was never consummated. Some drifting years followed before a Christian conversion, marriage and family shifted his focus away from the single minded determination required for the demands of a career in the music business. Nevertheless, he has continued to grow artistically, appearing at festivals across Australia, sharing bills with legends such as James Reyne, Diesel and Brian Cadd along with his own headlining shows and regular performances in the Revival Centres Church. He has continued to write and produce new work, the latest instalment being the ‘Light Of The World’. The songs best tell the story. From the early demos of the mid 80’s through the low budget, low FI recordings of his early church years to the independent recordings of the current century up until the present day, it is a story still being told.
