    Born Timoy Janoye Jones from the Glendevon community in Montego Bay, St. James in Jamaica, Recording Artiste Teejay ‘UptopBoss’ was birthed on the 3rd of October 1994. Teejay as a child was recognized as musically gifted and during his early years was always surrounded by music, love and laughter. Challenged by adversities in Jamaica growing up, Teejay describes his life as a youngster as tough, but happy! Teejay was inspired to do music by his 3 brothers who were all musicians and formed a group and built a home studio. After doing much on his own, musically, Teejay found creative happiness at the famous Frenz For Real Studios and then made another big step in his career at the end of 2018 and signed to Jamaica’s top entertainment company Romeich Entertainment where he is now label mates with the likes of Shenseea and Ding Dong and is catapulting his career even further. He has already solidified himself as a mainstay in Dancehall music and his social media statistics across all platforms speaks volumes. According to Teejay his plan is to be a legend in music, not just Dancehall but across various genres.
