Philippines-based artist from Cebu who began with beat production and visual effects. Chuya gradually established himself in the music industry by editing videos for other artists. He eventually was discovered by Cookie$ and joined the collective, The Bakeshop Studios, where he began working with artists such as Justraw, $aucepekt, Jnuzh and VVNILLA. Chuya continued to push art through music, visuals, and fashion by releasing projects under the collective. Growing up with love for hip-hop and R&B running deep, His influences can be traced back to some of the biggest names in the industry, including Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Travis Scott and many others. Drawing inspiration from these artists and the music that shaped them, Chuya has crafted a sound that is uniquely his own. Music that is relatable and grounded in the culture, showcasing a personal perspective that resonates with listeners. His dedication to the craft and passion for music is evident in every track release.
