A multi-talented musician, producer and song writer born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, 09XXI is making music that is thoughtful, conscious and driven by a desire to motivate, inspire, comfort and spread love and joy to all those that hear it. 09XXI had an affinity to music from a very early age constantly always finding ways to create rhythms. He picked up drums at age 11 and never looked back. He also began writing music at age 17 and has not stopped. 09XXI transitioned into releasing his own music during the COVID-19 induced quarantine. This period of evolution has led to the growth of 09XXI’s creativity and undeniable talent. He has ultimately developed a style of songwriting and beat making that is transparent, daring and full of hope and reflective of his experiences, thought and ambitions, turning his pain into purpose and lessons into studio sessions. His ambition is to entertain as well as direct people to social issues we face, educate people and hopefully inspire them to make changes. 09XXI's socially conscious music exhibits not only his versatility and lyrical prowess but has surely cemented his style as witty, and confident. This is the music that will push the boundaries of our perception as well as inspire and drive us to introspective conversations. It’s the music that may not change the world, but can change the people within.
