Flamingo Haze, who got part of their name from seeing a paint swatch called “flamingo”, all became interested in music at a young age. They hail from different parts of Indiana and the North side of Chicago. Flamingo Haze is David Klocek (rhythum guitar & lead vocals), Scout Klocek (bass & backup vocals), Daniel Asher (drums) and Vlad Danilkovich (lead guitar and backup vocals). The alt rock, indie electronic band has a lot of influences including The Beatles, Tame Impala, M83, Dave Grohl, Mumford & Sons, Aaron Gillespie, Taylor Hawkins and Matt Helpern. What inspires Flamingo Haze to write their own music is that they want to help people say what they’re feeling and feel what they want to say. David says their music can be described as, “An honest expression of synth pop wave, with alt rock inspirations.” Right now, Flamingo Haze is working through new songs and pushing the envelope sonically. They just released their single, “All Night Long”, which David says is “A modern take on classic 80s coming of age elation and an indie alternative electronic vibe that takes you through the song on dreamy synth-waves.” They are also set to release Slow Cinema A-side and B-side and will also be dropping music produced by Chuck Alkazian (Pop Evil, Soundgarden, Tantric) at Pearl Sound Studios (Asking Alexandria, Eminem, Filter) Canton, MI.
