444 | 508 40HZ zanny "ZQNNEX" is a 16-year-old rapper based in Brockton, Massachusetts. His original goal for music was to find something more to do, and now this is his heart and soul. Close friends of his would know the way he holds his craft dear to him like a gift, and he uses this art to pass time, as therapy, as a way out, and so much more. Inspired by artists like Ohgeesy, DAY$OKEE, $not, Ciscaux, 1nonly, and many more, he originally took to the aesthetic rap scene. He gained his place in the underground scene with songs such as "Dreaming", ".40", and "Basic", along with a song with Lil Dew'. He would drop an EP called "Z", which was eventually deleted from everywhere but Soundcloud. Soon into his journey as an artist, he soon took part in the phonk genre as well, with assistance from artists such as VXJOKING, xaisfuneral, 2switchblades, and DAY$OKEE himself. However, this phonk era would come to a close as he believed his phonk music was going nowhere, and fell into a sort of depression. He went back to aesthetic rap, and the song "Feisty" with Hxzz and Teddy70k would keep his name in the scene for a couple more months. However, he felt as if he was falling off, barely managing to gain any traction with any song he dropped solo at all. This would change once he dropped "NIGHTLOCK", his phonk EP named after his colder alter-ego. His stats doubled over the course of 2 weeks, with "Purgatory" being the star song from the EP, bringing him to where he is now.
