Биография

MELÉN is a Malmö/Copenhagen-based artist and producer with a vision to create a soundscape that balances between the human and the mechanical. Her way of making music is to process, loop, or chop up all instrument tracks, in order to form an electronic landscape out of acoustic elements. Through her way of producing and the way her live sets work, she has developed a sound that has been compared with artists like Björk, The Japanese House, and Bon Iver.   Since the debut EP ‘Mind/Math’ was released last year she has been recognized in Swedish radio P3, played venues in Malmö, Gothenburg, and Stockholm as well as being written about in Swedish press such as GAFFA, Aftonbladet, and Göteborgsposten among others.
