    Borrowing their name from the lyrics of an old Alkaline Trio song, BAD IDEAS was a British punk rock group that stylistically owed as much to the youthful swagger of 90’s Brit-pop groups and guitar-led indie bands as it did trans-Atlantic punk rock. With driven guitars, a solid rhythm section and anthemic, accessible hooks, the band earned a reputation as an explosive live act allowing them to tour all across the UK and Europe. Sharing stages with the likes of The Flatliners, Into It Over It, Tellison, Beach Slang, A Wilhelm Scream and Joyce Manor, as well as being invited to play festivals such as Groezrock, Deadpunk, Hevy & 2000 Trees. The band also earned plaudits from MTV, VICE, BBC Radio, Kerrang and more. Bad Ideas recorded 2 EP's and three albums in total ‘Murder of Gods’ in 2012, ‘Compromise’ in 2013 and a self-titled third full length which was released freely after the band broke up in early 2016.
