'Anouar' was written by Laust Sonne, as a tribute to the Tunisian oud player Anouar Brahem. It is a slow and mysterious desert soul tune, which takes the listener on a dreamy journey through sandy landscapes of sonic poetry. 'Anouar' presents a Middle Eastern influenced musical dialogue between these three top musicians; Laust Sonne shows that he has the right feeling for jazz in his drum playing, Jakob Dinesen is playing his saxophone with a dark and dusty tone and Anders "AC" Christensen adds a deep and slightly hypnotic bassline to this playful mood piece. The album 'Blessings' will be released on the 9th of April 2021, and the release concert/party will take place in Kulturhuset, Islands Brygge, Copenhagen 14th of April 2021.
